Twenty-seven copper etchings (each almost 2 x 2", one for each letter plus a frontispiece) plus text by Feldman. Etchings printed by Kathy Caraccio at K. Caraccio Printing Studio. Caraccio colored the etchings by pochoir assisted by Tai-Kyu Kim, Michael Li, Sana Fadel, and Franklin Feldman. The type, in fonts of Granjon and Goudy Bold Italic, set in linotype by Kent LeFebvre of Signs Plus, and printed by Darrell Hyder at Sun Hill Press. Paper: Rives Heavyweight Buff. Binding and slipcase were constructed by James Di Marcantonio at Hope Bindery and Box Co.

An alphabet for a bibliophile. Color etchings accompany each letter with prose poetry by Franklin Feldman. Starting with A for Apprentice Feldman takes an alphabetic journey through occupations associated with bookmaking. I is for Illuminator: "He loves to decorate by hand whether it involves gold, silver, or colored paint...." T for Typographer: "A very knowledgeable person a typographer knows about punch cutting, type foundry, printing processes, designing…." Finally Z for Zincographer: "One who knows the technology and can translate an image to copper or zinc…."
