This artist book twists just like one tosses and tumbles in bed trying to get that one good night's sleep. Ciro's "The Measurement of Melancholia as Observed in Tossing and Turning and Under the Scrutiny of the Scales of Endurance'" uses images and measurement graphics to try to understand the night's loss slumber.

Ciro captures that feeling of a car trip, landscape flying by while inside one feels the need to get there, avoiding stopping even for a bathroom break. The interior reveals a flag book against a landscape of the Western landscape. The flag book displays those words and sounds of travel. The exterior is the "destination" at that milestone in the trip, an eating establishment, to gain nourishment and rest then once again on the road.
