Oneiros Press publishes fine, poetry broadsides featuring graphic design and contemporary American poetry. Dr. Steven Frech, founder of Oneiros Press, is a member of the faculty of the English Department at Millikin University. Shawn Sheehy serves as graphic designer and printer for the poetry broadside series published by the Press. He currently serves as adjunct faculty teaching book arts at Columbia College.

12.75 x 20". Broadside printed in dark red, blue & black with silver lettering on cream paper. Fourteen lines of poetry printed on bottom right of broadside with title printed vertical in two rows along upper right edge. The left side is an illustration of a skull reflecting the poem.

This poem by Albert Goldbarth is the first broadside in Sheehy's Series 1. Signed by Goldbarth.

Lack, the Willow

12.75 x 20". Broadside printed in green and black on cream paper. Poetry down right third of broadside in verses of two lines each. Title printed in capitals vertically on left side of poetry. Illustration of hand stretched palm out with willow leaf growing up through it so that roots are underneath and leaf is above the hand.

This is the second broadside in Sheehy's Series I. The poem is by Jane Mead and is signed by her.

The good earth spins and circles. The willow speaks from the center...

13 x 21" Broadside printed in green & orange on cream paper. Poetry down right third of broadside printed on green background. Title printed in capitals right side above poetry. Illustration of naked man seated with head a stopwatch. Hand reaching down to click the stop watch. Orange checked chess board overlays bottom half of man's torso.

This broadside was designed by Shawn Sheehy and made possible by the kind assistance of the Columbia College Chicago Center for Book , & Paper Arts and Graphic Products Corporations. This is the first in Sheehy's Series 2. The text is an except from the poem "These Are My Rivers" by Lawrence Ferlinghetti. The broadside is signed & dated by the poet.
